Delete your THEAX account
You can permanently delete your THEAX account and everything in it. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.
From inside the app
- Open THEAX and go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm twice. The deletion runs immediately and signs you out.
If you pay for a plan
If you pay on theaxapp.com, deleting your account cancels that subscription right away. There is no automatic refund. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
If you pay through the App Store, deleting your account does not cancel that subscription. Apple bills it, so only you can cancel it: on your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Open your App Store subscriptions.
THEAX does not sell subscriptions through Google Play.
Deleting your data without deleting your account
If you only want a fresh start, you can erase your data and keep your login.
- Open THEAX and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete my data.
- Confirm. Your plan, activities, habits, history and profile are erased.
Your account stays open and the same email keeps working. If you no longer have the app, email supportteam@theaxapp.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to erase your data. What we keep in this case is the same as below.
If you no longer have the app
Email supportteam@theaxapp.com from the address you signed up with, asking us to delete your account. We action these requests within 30 days and reply to confirm when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your login credentials, so the email can no longer sign in
- Your blueprints, activities, habits, check-ins and verifications
- Your profile, preferences and everything THEAX inferred about you
- Your chat history and any documents you uploaded
- Your notifications, reminders and progress history
What we keep, and why
We keep an anonymized statistical record of how the product was used: things like how far plans got and which kinds of tasks were completed. It carries no name, no email and no identifier that links back to you, and it cannot be used to rebuild your account. We keep it to understand whether THEAX actually helps people.
Records we are required to retain for legal or accounting reasons, such as payment receipts, are kept for 7 years and then deleted.
This cannot be undone
Once your account is deleted we cannot restore it, and neither can you. Signing up again with the same email creates a brand new, empty account.
