THEAX is a non-refundable monthly subscription by default, but we offer three clear windows for legitimate cases: automatic refund in the first 7 days with no usage, manual review between 7 and 14 days, and no refund window after 14 days or after a lifetime refund has been used.
This policy complies with the California Automatic Renewal Law (ARL) and FTC practices. Currently applies to United States users only.
We process a full refund instantly, with no human review, if all of these are true:
When all apply, click "Request refund" on your subscription screen and we confirm in seconds. The charge reverses on your card within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank. Your account drops to the Free plan immediately.
If you don't qualify for automatic refund but fewer than 14 days have passed, you can submit a manual request with a brief explanation. Typical cases:
We reply by email within 1 to 3 business days. The decision is at THEAX's discretion and considers: actual product usage, reason for the request, account history, and internal margin policies.
We do not process refunds in these cases:
If you think an edge case deserves consideration, contact us, the policy exists to be transparent, not to block genuine cases.
Canceling your subscription prevents the next cycle's charge but doesn't refund the current charge, you keep access until the end of the paid cycle. Done from "Manage subscription in Stripe" on your subscription screen.
Requesting a refund is the process above: reverses the charge + cancels immediately. Two separate flows.
If you've already initiated a dispute (chargeback) with your card, we can't process the refund on our side, the bank resolves the case directly. We recommend contacting us before initiating a dispute: we can usually resolve faster.
This policy may change. Any change applies to charges made after the update date (shown at the top of the page). Earlier charges are evaluated under the version in effect at the time of the charge.
